There are two types of receiver screws ( lever, breech bolt.) for the 1889 & 1894. For example the firing pin #10AB would be used on either the 1889 or the 1894. These suffix letters are not factory, but helps eliminate some confusion & allows us to better identify parts for you. We may also throw in a letter (W) or (N) designating wide, or narrow in the case of extractors.
For this purpose we arbitrarily have used the letter (A) for the model 1889, the letter (B) for 1894 & the letter (C) for the 1915. If the part interchanges with one or more models, we have assigned a suffix letter to the factory part designating whether it can also be used on other models as well.
